"Simply put, XI is a personal favorite of ours here at Frite Nite. 2011 brought a bounty of fruitful endeavors for the Toronto native also known as Christian Anderson. Prior to his recent relocation to the brimming music scene that is Berlin, XI shared a number of releases that covered the classiest sides of damn near every style and tempo we hold dear. From his “Gamma Rain / Medicate” 12″ on Orca, to his spot-on remix of Sepalcure’s timeless “Love Pressure” on Hotflush, all the way back to the stand-out track “Whiteout” on our own Surreal Estate compilation, the young man stays busy. The hot streak continues in 2012, with his third 12″ for Orca (his full-time label home) entitled “Squeeze / Immunity”, which has already become a staple in a few of our crates. Needless to say, we are thrilled to have him as our distinguished guest for the 17th edition of the FTNT podcast series."
