Forged in the fires of Techno's industrial past, Sigha (pronunced sire) is a different kind of DJ/ Producer. In his world, German minimal wizards Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann and Redshape sit side by side with UK bass music standard-bearers Ramadanman and Pangaea, all united under the umbrella of intensely deep, forward thinking music. Sigha has been a member of Scuba’s Hotflush family since late 2008 with his first release Bruised /Expansions quickly winning support from both the deeper sides of the Techno and Dubstep communities. He has since release a further 3 records on the Hotflush label, which chart his progression into purist Techno territory, as well as releases on his own 'Our Circula Sound' imprint and James Ruskin’s seminal Blueprint label.
He has provided remixes for CLR, Echocord, Prologue, Sudden Drop, Metalheadz and Microwave among others whilst his DJ schedule takes him regularly round Europe. His unique blend of spatially orientated depth and dance floor awareness has seen him provide mixes for BBC Radio 1, Mnml Ssgs, Fabric and Hotflush and has drawn props from Mary Anne Hobbs, Peter Van Hoessen, Francois K, Brendon Moeller Ben Klock and Dettmann himself to name a few.
